Los Angeles police arrested three men in connection with a armed robbery that occurred in Rancho Palos Verdes, and are searching for a fourth individual who participated in the crime. According to police, four men, one of whom had a handgun, entered a home occupied by seven members of one family and robbed the occupants. During the robbery, the suspects stunned three of the victims with a Taser, and tied up several members of the family. One victim, an 84-year old paraplegic woman, was taken into another room, where some of the suspects tried to smother her. One of the victims escaped the home and fled to a neighbor’s home to call the police.
Cars Made Family Robbery Target
According to police, the family was targeted because several expensive cars were parked in the driveway. Police located one of the suspects in the immediate vicinity of the home, and arrested two other suspects a short distance away. Those suspects were still in possession of items taken from the home, as well as the handgun used in the robbery. A fourth suspect, whose DNA was collected at the scene, has not yet been identified.
