Erratic driving leads to DUI arrest
Erratic driving leads to drunk driving arrest
A 38-year-old man was arrested by Los Angeles police earlier this month after they observed him driving erratically at a low speed. Police attempted to stop the driver, who then led them on a chase. Officers disabled the suspect’s vehicle with stop sticks, and the SWAT team surrounded the driver. The confrontation resulted in the closure of the freeway, and a traffic backup of several miles in both directions. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He also told officers that he had taken methamphetamine prior to his arrest.

A DUI attorney with experience

You should not take drunk driving charges lightly because the Courts will not take a DUI arrest lightly. If you’ve been convicted of driving while intoxicated, you can be jailed, fined, lose your driver license, have restrictions placed on your ability to drive, be subjected to driver retraining, ordered to spend time in a drug or alcohol rehabilitation program, be required to pay for monitoring equipment for your vehicle, and besubjected to random drug and alcohol testing. You’ll also pay much more for insurance. Insurance companies can also drop your coverage for first-time or repeat convictions.
