Four individuals, including one juvenile were arrested for burglary in Long Beach in connection with an incident that occurred last week. Neighbors called 911 at about 2:20 in the morning to report the burglary. Long Beach police responded, and upon arrival, saw the suspects’ vehicle fleeing the scene. The driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a utility pole. Two of the four suspects fled the scene. The other two suspects were arrested.

Additional reports of a suspicious person in the area were called into 911, and officers arrested a third burglary suspect in the backyard of a nearby home. The fourth burglary suspect was located near another local residence following a search by officers on foot and in a helicopter. A police dog was also used to locate and apprehend the suspect.
The suspects have been charged with home invasion robbery, fleeing a pursuing officer while driving recklessly, and having a concealed firearm in a vehicle. The juvenile was charged with three counts of home invasion robbery and one firearms possession count.
