Theft of Shuttle Lands Man In Jail
Los Angeles police arrested a man in Westchester after he stole an idling hotel shuttle. According to police, the man committed the theft last month near Los Angeles International Airport.

According to witnesses, the man stole the empty shuttle, as it idled near the airport. After leaving in the shuttle, he appeared to strike cars intentionally. Police said the man struck a number of parked vehicles, before taking the shuttle onto the freeway. Once on the 405 freeway, the man pulled over and abandoned the vehicle. He ran across several lanes of traffic carrying a rake and a stick.

Police briefly stopped southbound traffic on the freeway to prevent the man from being struck. They later arrested the suspect, who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics.
