Los Angeles Clippers’ forward Branden Dawson was arrested last week on suspicion of felony spousal abuse. The former Michigan State University player had just been recalled from the club’s Erie Bay Hawks development league team just two days prior to his arrest. Dawson posted a bond of $50,000 and was released about six hours later.
Spousal abuse said to involve former girlfriend
The club has not indicated what will happen to Dawson. According to police, Dawson was arrested at about 7:30 AM on Sunday at a Playa Vista residence. Further details about the incident that led to Dawson’s spousal abuse arrest were not available, but allegedly involved Dawson’s former live-in girlfriend.
