DUI Suspect Arrested in Tarzana
Los Angeles police arrested a man suspected of DUI in LA, following an accident that injured three people and damaged several parked cars.

Police say that an intoxicated driver traveling at twice the speed limit hit a pedestrian who had just parked her car on Clark Street near North Yolanda Avenue in Tarzana. The two other injured people were reported to have been passengers in the intoxicated driver’s car. Rescue personnel transported all three victims to local hospitals for treatment.

The driver, whom police did not identify, refused to submit to field sobriety tests to determine his level of intoxication. That forced officers to request a warrant to conduct the search.

LA DUI Lawyer

A drunk driving arrest has both immediate and long-term consequences. That’s why your first move should be to hire an experienced DUI lawyer to defend you throughout the judicial process.

A drunk driving arrest triggers two processes – one that’s administrative and another one that’s criminal. These two processes are independent, but they can affect each other, and they will definitely affect you. When you’re arrested for drunk driving, you will receive an Order of Suspension and a temporary license.

You’ll need to request a DMV hearing within 10 days of your arrest. If you do not act within the time limit, the DMV will automatically suspend your license. Getting a hearing doesn’t mean you’ll get your license back, but you definitely won’t get your license back without a hearing.

The court can also suspend your license, or place additional restrictions on your ability to drive. These restrictions can have a serious impact on critical components of your daily life – including your employment. An experienced defense attorney can help ensure that you can minimize the impact of a drunk driving arrest on other areas of your life.
