In two separate incidents, two city council staff members were arrested for drunk driving last weekend. Fredy Ceja, 36, is the communications director for City Councilman Gill Cedillo. Ceja was arrested after colliding with a Metro bus at Sixth and Spring Streets in downtown LA on Saturday morning. About an hour later, Fredy Torres, 27, a field deputy for Marqueece Harris-Dawson, arrested for drunk driving in South LA. The councilman’s office confirmed that Torres was driving a city vehicle at the time of his arrest.
