Policing agencies are interested in drug crimes because they often have connections to other crimes. When you face charges involving drug crimes, hire an experienced drug possession lawyer like Robert Helfend. Mr. Helfend has 35 years of experience in criminal defense. He takes cases in Los Angeles County and throughout Southern California.

Thanks to voter initiatives, the state has realigned its approach to certain drug crimes. By changing the way the state treats drug crimes, it can eliminate incarceration as a possible result of conviction on low-level, non-violent crimes. In addition, the decriminalization of marijuana opens up additional possibilities for people who have a record of previous convictions related to marijuana possession.

The state is not so forgiving when drug crimes involve other substances, like opioids like heroin, methamphetamine and prescription pills. When you face charges for drug offenses, your best defense is an aggressive experienced attorney. Your attorney will fight hard to get the charges against you reduced or dropped.

Don’t settle for an inexperienced attorney or one who doesn’t want to fight aggressively for you. Contact Robert Helfend or call toll-free at (800) 834-6434, (310) 456-3317, (818) 591-2809 or (805) 273-5611 for an immediate consultation on your Los Angeles County drug possession/embezzlement case.
