Patrik Bartosak, a Los Angeles Kings goalie prospect, has been charged with one domestic violence felony and 11 misdemeanor charges after an argument with his girlfriend. Bartosak is accused of attempting to strangle his girlfriend in the home the couple shares.

Bartosak, who has been suspended from the Kings’ East Coast Hockey League’s minor league affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs, previously played for the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League, another of the Kings’ farm teams. He was returned to Manchester following the incident.
The Los Angeles Kings also dealt with domestic violence issues last season, after defenseman Slava Voynov was arrested and pled no contest to a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. In that incident, Voynov served 90 days in jail and left the United States to avoid deportation following his release.
