Actor Faces Los Angeles DUI Charge
Los Angeles resident John Stamos, an actor known for both television and movie roles, was arrested by Los Angeles police on suspicion of DUI in June, and was arraigned on a misdemeanor DUI charge in Los Angeles County Superior Court last month. According to a press release issued by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Stamos was arrested near Canyon Drive and Brighton Way after callers reported a person driving erratically in the area. When officers investigated, they discovered that the 52-year old Stamos was intoxicated. If convicted on the DUI charge, Stamos faces a possible maximum sentence of up to 6 months in a county jail.

Stamos currently appears as Jimmy Martino on the CBS television series “Grandfathered.” He is also currently taping a Netflix original series called “Fuller House,” a reprisal of his role as Jesse Katsopolis in “Full House,” a comedy that originally aired on ABC from 1987 to 1995.
